All of our products come pre-finished and are very low maintenance. For cutting boards that get regular use, we suggest the following:

After use be sure to:

- clean with soap and water

- wipe with a dry cloth

- allow to dry thoroughly

Every few weeks, depending on the level of use:

- apply food safe mineral oil or a wood conditioner (see below)

After using for a period of time and if the board gets a little fuzzy:

- you may want to renew the surface. 

- sand with a fine grit sandpaper (400 grit or higher)

- wipe clean and apply more mineral oil or wood conditioner following the steps above.
